Norwegian salmon is a healthy and sustainable fish, already a classic of the Mediterranean Diet in millions of homes. Especially rich in protein, vitamin A, D and B12, antioxidants and omega 3, it is so versatile that it can be enjoyed in both hot and cold dishes and can also be prepared in record time to enjoy at home or take to the office.
Because, yes, Norwegian salmon is the best ally of the “tupper”, although we must take extreme precautions to make it a gastronomic experience and, of course, safe. Among the tips to keep in mind, Norwegian Sea reminds us that, whether raw or cooked, the food or culinary preparation must be refrigerated as soon as possible, since otherwise we will be entering an ideal temperature window for the growth of microorganisms.
And, if we want to use tupperware or sandwiches to take to work, it is worth keeping in mind that we must refrigerate our food once we arrive at the office. In fact, it is recommended that we do not keep already prepared foods at room temperature for more than 2 hours, although the less time they spend outside the refrigerator, the better.
Norwegian salmon is increasingly present in our homes – almost 90% of everything we consume comes exclusively from this Nordic country and its clean, crystalline and icy waters – after a dizzying growth in sales: in ten years The export of salmon from the Norwegian Sea to Spain has increased by 298% in value, while in volume it has grown by 98%. And so far this year alone (with data from January to September) the value of salmon in Spain has increased by 19% compared to the same period of the previous year.
