After announcing that he would leave and return, AS claims that Barca president Juan Laporte is furious with the coach and is happy about the club’s financial situation. On the other hand, Xavi claims: “No one at the club said a word to me about it”
Is Xavi on his way out of Barcelona? In January, the coach called a press conference in which he announced that he would leave , but a little less than a month ago he said that he had changed his mind and would stay next season as well. Now, it seems that the relationship between him and club president Juan Laforte is on the verge of an explosion and once again it seems that he is on his way out.

Barcelona is Looking for a New Coach.

AS reported today (Friday) that Barcelona gave the green light to search for a coach to replace Xavi. The reason for this is the coach’s protest at the press conference before yesterday’s game against Almeria (0:2 for the Catalans) about the financial situation of the club and its difficulty to function at the highest levels in light of these limitations. Laforte was furious about this and those close to him claimed that the situation did not seem to be fixable, so Xavi would probably not continue
