San Miguel GS in Las Hills (January 15)

They come to Spain for the sun and the heat, they said. It soon became apparent that the Greenkeeper had either gotten up on the wrong side of the bed or clearly thought it was April 1st.street with pin positions and yellow tees. Certain holes played very differently than the yellow tee positions today, which made for some interesting scores. The course was, as usual, in very good condition.

A few empty spaces today with 45 bundled up golfers getting going, shedding layers of clothing as the day grew warmer. And today’s scores were *drumroll*:

Gold: Mike Stott (36 points) – best score of the day
Silver: Rob Fyfe (34 points)
Bronze: Pat Dooley (35 points)

The scores say a lot about the iffy pin positions today…enough said about that.

The “Two” pot was divided between Paul Lambert, Mike Stott and Mike Stott (yes, two of two). Closest to the Pins this week were Peter Spinks, Paul Lambert, Roger Webb, Issy Wiggins-Turner and Mike Stott. Ken Flaherty took the pot of football cards with Bolton the winning team.

Vistabella for our second eclectic gathering next week, which is already packed. As a note, unfortunately our membership is closed, but guests can sign up to the reserve list on our website.
