DAILY ENTRANCE #361
“Monday, February 3. MM streets are full for the workday … Even with the worldly performances of Real Madrid and the constant rain. Hidden in the #Carlout chaos is the element, hoping to attack as snakes. And I am there too. Looking. 2.5 years of moderating nights have made me a nightclub. I must choose my goals carefully. It is a great forum. I can’t be everywhere. But they don’t know where I am. Val has a signal now, for when necessary. When that gif or characteristic of Mourinho hits the comments, it is not just a call, it is a warning. Them. Fear is a tool. They think I’m concealment In the shadows.
But I am the shadows.”

Welcome to The Daily Merengue – A place where you can feel free to discuss everything related to football. Do not be alarmed by manifest RMCF bias. It is in the name!
Shouting to the modifications that do a fantastic job, Valyrian Steel, Kungfuzuu, Nerobutblanco, Felipejack, and Juninho (the “shadows”).
Discharge of responsibility: If you want an X update on Real Madrid’s recent news, tune in Alonsofan or Hala Croatia (for Luka Modric Positive News). Today, and maybe all this week. I write. Let’s slowly evaluate this season.
The Shadows: The Board
Estimated mm,
I am confused. As we unravel the complexities of this season and try to analyze what has gone badly and how little it has gone well, I am confused when trying to evaluate the board and the hand of the shadow on this trip full of potholes. They constantly tell me if for experts, writers of mm, kiyan or frequent mmers that the Board has prepared this team for failure. I have been told that the Board has become passive and complacent with recent success. I have read the expression that Florentino sits with the belly full of trophies and lacks the hunger of continuing the cruelty that established his legacy. Even conquerors get tired of war.
But something in me (and I will be honest, I am not completely sure why) find a means to partially reject this premise. Cies Football and the Transfermarkt tell me that 6 Real Madrid players (Mbappe, Vini, Jude, Rodrygo, Bed, Fede) are among the 25 best most valuable players in the world – Only followed by Barcelona with 3. Balon d’Or nominations presented 5 active players from Real Madrid (if we eliminate Toni Kroos and Dani Carvajal). Some of our youngest players like Arda Gular were nominated for the kopa (a trophy given to the best U21 player). Our GK support was nominated for the Best GK Yachin trophy. Our CDM (which many have been grated) was one of the best artists for the WC finalist, France, and obtained a crucial goal in its semifinal against England. He was also one of his best artists in recent euros. Brahim Díaz (whom I personally consider a super sub) is the top scorer of Morocco from 24 hours a day, 24 hours, 7 days a week with 7. At least, we can conflict with confidence that There is world class talent If it is not some of the best in the world talent Filling 8/9 of the 11 positions in the field.
Frankly, amn’t I sure I am in a position to ask the Board more?
Yes, I understand and I know that many of you will cry for problems with our background. Many will first say that we need to sign at least one CB this summer, and I agree mostly. We lost Nacho and we did not replace it completely. However, I also believe that it is appropriate to evaluate 1) the complexity of players contracts and 2) the will of coaches to play new non -galactic players.
Contracts Clesting point 1: We must understand that we had 4 CB in first team contracts (practically a standard of the industry) to start the season. They were Alaba, Rudiger, Militao and Vallejo (yes, Jesus himself). I am willing to agree that this is not an absolutely optimal position, but Militao had returned for more than 3 months for the start of the season. Alaba was originally predicted that will play in October. And Vallejo is the largest red flag of spending frivolously on a young talent because we can’t really get rid of his contract. Since simply a commercial point of view (especially with academia players), I am not completely convinced that we enter the season in a strait of real land and part of our criticism is simply retrospective.
Rotations With respect to point 2: I am not sure if a young CB would have been rotated by Carlo to protect people such as Rudiger or even Militao. It would be simple to point towards the Rotations of Arda / Endrick, but instead I will give a better example of Rudiger on 22/23. Unlike a Yoro de Leny or inserts his favorite U23 CB, Rudiger entered the Madrid team with a Cl trophy and oozing the class. I clearly remember that he cried out that he was the best CB of our team; However, Rudi spent his first year as Psuedo-LB and Bench Player. Yes, everyone reminds Rudiger of the LB and the second leg of the city of the Rudiger city (also known as Rudi, which was a bank for a militao recently that he could not stop Haaland and company). Today, we would absolutely call the decision, but at the moment when all of you (not me) for some reason they accepted that Rudiger was our third / 4th option. Yes, Yoro (or Insertion Name) may now be starting on Tchouameni but If Asencio (which is 2 years older than Yoro) cannot obtain the initial position of CB. I doubt someone younger.
Excuse me: this is quite long, so we will be very fast to address the fullback situation. Again, I am not completely sure that this collection of players is completely on the board. Regarding the LB situation, LB’s pairing was suboptimal to start the season. I am not a Mendy fan and I have advocated that he is replaced during most 1.5 years. Fran is fine, but it really is good. From most of the sources, it did not seem that the Board was interested in renewing Mendy until Ancelotti intervened (which has sometimes been really good, that is, Ceballos). Alphonso Davies was the summer talk. But an intervention occurred, and similar to point 2 why buy a potential third LB player that the newly renewed manager cannot play.
The RBS in my honest absolute opinion is simply a retrospective problem. This is not the better Duo, but it has been a quite solved duo until Carvajal legitimately lost his knee. Dani Carvajal at the beginning of the year was in dispute for the Balon d’Or (and the IMO should have won if Jude Bellingham no Oh). Lucas Vázquez is actually a fine RB in small doses and when used in moderation. It’s like your favorite spicy sauce / spice. You should use it for some dishes, but not all dishes. “The spice is a potentiator, not a taste …” But now, we are trapped with the LV as a complete taste, which of course is a problem. With Taa, except the summer talk, the Board contractually (remember that this is ultimately a financial business) Havstung. Do you buy a RB for six months? If so, who? Walker? Kyle Walker, who honestly can’t run and has more than 30? If not, who is willing to jump the ship for six months and return realistically where they come? Do you promote an academy player? The use of Carlo to said player about Fede or LV anyway? All these are complex questions confused in their decision making.
Personally, in my opinion, the Board shares some inactivity in the winter transfer window. But again, I’m not completely sure it’s much. The previous paragraphs (apologize again by the length) address summer decisions, but in reality there are no winter decisions. Now I could discuss the complexity of future contracts and valleys, but instead I will point out the only contract that now matters: Carlo. According to most reports, Carlo may not continue approving this season. The manager’s longevity with the team is uncertain. When the manager is uncertain, it is difficult to argue that a club pays a premium to save poor situations. Fast examples of clubs that carefully bought the players when they know that the manager can soon be loose is Chelsea / UTD. We absolutely do not want to be them. Ask Ruben Amorim or Maresca or Poch. Ask Ruben how delighted Zirkzee is, which has not been in UTD for more than 7 months. He is not. 42.5m wasted.
But it is what it is. We will continue marching with this board because Flo will be here until 2029. That is really the only truth in the matter.
Anyway, I will evaluate the Board with 15-20% responsibility for our inconsistent form.

You do not need 25 super players to win, Ancelotti himself has demonstrated it several times. The problem is the hierarchy: Tchouameni will play, not Asencio. Aguado will not have the opportunity, even if Vázquez barely breathes. Bellingham, Mbappe and Vini cannot be replaced during a match https://t.co/9epivbwh7z

Valyrian steel: we will rebuild but not just the daily threads. We must rebuild the faith of the Mmers, in our institutions, in our moderators, among themselves. Together, we must learn to believe in MM again. Together, we must save mm.
Juninho: But … Maybe I’m beyond saving?
