Flo is still supreme
Florentino has done an incredible job in his second stage as president of Real Madrid. We often disagree with many transfer decisions, but he has put the club on top. I don’t know if the Super League will ever come to life but I have no doubt that if it did, Real Madrid would be even bigger thanks to it. While Florentino has his flaws, it’s unlikely we’ll find anyone as good let alone better for the job.

Rodrygo will always have to fight for it. That’s your lot in life. I say this in light of the fact that these statistics are due to largely disappointing performances from the team. You always want to congratulate players who are putting up good numbers, but it doesn’t matter if we’ve been so bad this season.
Conclusion of the Davies affair
There you have it. We will stay with Mendy and Fran for the foreseeable future. Juni Calafat seems to have stopped working after the signing of Jude Bellingham. It is pathetic that the first team has a full-back and three passive players disguised as full-backs. The worst thing is that the issue on the side is not new. This has been going on for years.
⚪️ Real Madrid’s priority target for July continues to be Trent Alexander-Arnold, who since last year has always been above Alphonso Davies on the shortlist.
Real were also interested in Davies, but never reached a closed deal… meanwhile, he is now close to signing a new contract with Bayern, almost closed. pic.twitter.com/c2fMnbrgH2

Prioritizing the right-back, where we actually have a world-class full-back, over the left-back, where we live on a prayer, seems quite irresponsible.
Jacob is back
ó ( | ) was outstanding tonight against Betis Deportivo, putting in his second consecutive great performance since his return. I’m happy to see him back in action and performing so well. Let’s hope he stays in shape. pic.twitter.com/JbqiDR7M2k

Jacobo Ramón was in line for a chance with the first team when his season was cut short by repeated injuries. The young man is now back with Castilla and we can only wish him good health. Although Jacobo is highly valued in the youth ranks, it has been the unknown Raúl Asencio who has had the opportunity to impress with the first team.
Team depth
Ideally, the coach wants the entire team to be available, but even with all these players absent, we have an incredible squad. In fact, if we don’t bury our heads in the sand and really look towards academia, we will have a lot of riches. Let’s hope that the coach has seen the light and insists on trusting his entire squad.
Camavinga is injured. Tchouaméni has played well again in DM. Jacobo Ramón is back if we need another CB. Modric and Vinicius are only serving suspensions and their positions have a lot of coverage in any case.
