Pinatar Arena announces first teams for 2025

As has been tradition since its inauguration in January 2013, Pinatar Arena has revealed the initial list of teams that will visit the training complex in January 2025.

Heidenheim, KRC Genk, Hajduk Split and Ljubljana among the confirmed participants

As has been tradition since its inauguration in January 2013, Pinatar Arena has revealed the initial list of teams that will visit the training complex in January 2025.

Representing 13 nations

Several prominent clubs, including 1. FC Heidenheim of the Bundesliga, KRC Genk of Belgium, Kalmar FF of Sweden, Silkeborg IF of Denmark, FC Kryvbas of Ukraine and the national youth teams of Germany and Portugal, will return to San Pedro del Pinatar. These teams will use the facilities to prepare for the second half of their respective seasons.

The familiar faces are joined by newcomers such as Hajduk Split from Croatia, led by Ivan Rakitić and Gennaro Gattuso, NK Olimpija Ljubljana from Slovenia, Újpest FC from Hungary, Śląsk Wrocław from Poland and the U-20 national team from Kyrgyzstan.

Record numbers in 2024

Pinatar Arena closed 2024 with the best numbers in its history, hosting 143 training camps for teams from 36 countries. This activity contributed more than 40,000 hotel stays to the Costa Cálida region.
